Playing Fair
When engaging The Crooked Croupier™ to perform at your event, we’ve designed the process to be as stress-free, smooth and enjoyable as possible.
To keep everyone on the same page, here is the ‘rule book’ for working with The Crooked Croupier™. It’s focused entirely on making your event amazing, ensuring everyone has a brilliant time and getting you the best result possible.
PERFORMANCE RULES OF ENGAGEMENTS
'The Crooked Croupier™', 'The Roaming Rogue™', ‘The Performer’, 'I' 'Us' and 'We' refer to Nick Stein.
'performing', 'entertaining', 'roaming rogue entertainment', ‘ crooked croupier entertainment’, ‘conman cabaret’, ‘cabaret’, 'show', ‘packages’, ‘Diamond Heist’, ‘deals’ and 'consulting' refers to services carried out by The Crooked Croupier™ (Nick Stein) and may be used interchangeably depending on the services being provided/needed.
'Client' and 'booker' refer to anyone booking The Crooked Croupier™.
‘Bribe’, ‘Fee’ ‘Performance Fee’, ‘Appearance Fee’ and ‘Booking Fee’ refer to the cost of engaging Nick Stein, The Crooked Croupier™ for an event.
Unless otherwise detailed in writing, all services shall be carried out by Nick Stein, The Crooked Croupier™
THE SCOPE OF THIS ‘RULE BOOK’
This ‘rule book’ and the terms & conditions within refer to all bookings made between the booker and The Crooked Croupier™.
THE DETAILS OF YOUR BOOKING
When you book The Crooked Croupier™, you’ll receive a booking confirmation with your event date, the start time and estimated finish time of The Crooked Croupier’s performance, the booking name/title, and The Crooked Croupier’s estimated time of arrival. It is the responsibility of the client to check all the booking details in full before signing/confirming the booking online.
SERVICES
Nick Stein will carry out the services listed on the confirmation document.
BRIBES, PAYMENTS AND INVOICES
You’ll receive an invoice upon booking for the full booking fee. Unless agreed otherwise in writing, all payments are due within 7 (seven) days of confirming the booking.
TRAVEL AND ACCOMMODATION
Events taking place further than 50 miles from London, may require additional travel and/or accommodation arrangements which will be outlined to you clearly before booking. Usually, The Crooked Croupier™ will book travel and send a separate invoice outlining all travel expenses. Generally, it’s best if the client arranges the accommodation.
CANCELLATIONS
When a booking is confirmed your date is immediately marked as unavailable in The Crooked Croupier’s™ diary. Cancellations are subject to a cancellation charge equal to the original booking fee. In the event of such a cancellation by the client, The Crooked Croupier™ will make reasonable efforts to fill the date. If the date is successfully filled with another booking of the same or higher value the client will be offered a refund. If the date is successfully filled with a booking of a lower value the client will be offered a partial refund to cover the difference.
