Keeping it simple

When you book The Crooked Croupier™ to perform at your event, he's tried to make the process as simple, easy and delightful as possible.

To keep things clear for everyone, here are the terms and conditions for working with The Crooked Croupier™. They're all focused on making sure that your event is amazing, and that the audience gets a great result.


Terms for Performance engagements

'The Crooked Croupier™', 'The Roaming Rogue™', ‘The Performer’, 'I' 'Us' and 'We' refers to Nick Stein

'performing', 'entertaining', 'roaming rogue entertainment', ‘ crooked croupier entertainment’, ‘conman cabaret’, ‘cabaret’, 'show', ‘packages’, ‘Diamond Heist’, ‘deals’ and 'consulting' refer to services delivered by The Crooked Croupier™ and may be used interchangeably depending on the service being delivered and requested

'Client' and 'booker' refer to the organisation engaging The Crooked Croupier™

‘Bribe’, ‘Fee’ ‘Performance Fee’, ‘Appearance Fee’ and ‘Booking Fee’ refer to the cost of engaging Nick Stein, The Crooked Croupier™ for an event.

Unless otherwise detailed in writing, all services requested by clients will be delivered by Nick Stein, The Crooked Croupier™


Scope of these terms and conditions

These terms and conditions apply to all engagements and bookings made between The Crooked Croupier™ and the booker.


Booking details

When booking The Crooked Croupier™, we’ll send you a booking confirmation with details of the date of your event, the start and finish time of The Crooked Croupier’s™ performance, the title of the booking, and The Crooked Croupier’s™ estimated arrival time. It is the client's responsibility to check these details carefully, and sign and return the booking form either online or by post.


Services

Nick Stein will deliver the services outlined on the booking confirmation document

Payment and invoicing

We will send an invoice on booking for the booking fee. Unless agreed otherwise in writing, all payments are due within 7 (seven) days of confirming the booking.

Travel and accommodation

For events more than 40 miles from London, travel and accommodation may be needed. This will be clearly indicated on the booking form. In most cases, The Crooked Croupier™ will book his own travel and add it to the invoice. It is usually easier for the client to book the accommodation.

Cancellation

Confirming a booking means that the date is immediately unavailable in The Crooked Croupier’s™ diary. Cancellation of bookings will incur a charge equal to the original booking fee. In the event of such a cancellation by the client, The Crooked Croupier™ will make reasonable efforts to fill the date. If the date is successfully filled with another booking of the same or higher value the client will be offered a refund. If the date is successfully filled with a booking of a lower value the client will be offered a partial refund to cover the difference.
